Mystic blues

Mystic blues

mystic blues... while walking in farmers, i saw a beauty! No, she's not a girl and definitely not a boy but a mystic blue (actually black and blue) butterfly!

"Mystic blues"

She was sitting there on the couch, she ignored everyone on the dance floor. She came with a friend. This was the first time her friend attended a party but there she was dancing on floor, hyper because of Hed Kahndi, house music. She preferred hip-hop. Dazed and slightly drunk (maybe tipsy), she stared at the TV across her. It was on. Milan was the title of the movie being shown.

"Piolo Pascual, damn he's hot, " she smiled after all she went through.

She reached out for her cell phone from her purse, which was beside her. She wanted to call someone, anybody. She looked at her cell phone. There was a message. "Maybe that f*cking text mate of mine...," she smirked. When she opened the message, she was disappointed. It was just a SMART promo.

"I was hoping for someone...," she sighed. She called her driver to pick her up from the party.

She dressed up for the night to impress guys(this night she regretted it). She wore a black tube with spaghetti straps and a denim short skirt. Definitely a head-turner, she loved the way those guys stare at her. One incident from a different party, one guy actually jaw-dropped when he saw her passed-by. Nothing can compare to her beauty. Every party she attended, she's the center of desire. Guys would go gaga over her while she would just make-out with the hottest of them.

Toying her cell phone, she stared at the restroom where she came from. She wished she didn't go to this hellhole organized by a barkada from an all boys school located in Ortigas. "Anytime now...anytime now," she whispered.

Flirting, kissing guys and getting drunk was all her plans for the night (maybe a boy or two may get her number especially if they're hot) but this night was different, her plans didn't go well. The latter part was the only plan she achieved.

Earlier that night, a guy invited her to dance. Damn he's confident to ask me for a dance, she thought. All the guys were staring at her and tried to talk to her but this guy had the guts. She accepted the guy's invite. The guy, who's name was Magnum (which he whispered to her while their dancing), was hot, and sexy. He had dark almond shaped-eyes, and a well worked-out body. She smelled cigarette on his clothes and alcohol on his breath. He had this soft manly whisper and a very romantic character (or so she thought).

While they're dancing, Magnum looked straight to her eyes. She felt something. Was it love? Was it just an infatuation? Was it something naughty or nice? She quivered.

"I really like you...," he whispered. She heard it clear even if the music was loud.

"I like you too...," she whispered back but she was uncertain of her answer, because she was tipsy and was caught in the moment.

Magnum started kissing her while they're dancing. She submitted easily and kissed back passionately. Then he whispered something to her that made her back away from him and ruined the moment.

"Hell no...I’m not that drunk and that easy," she said.

Magnum's pride was bruised. It was maybe his first time a girl rejected him. He took it personally. Unfortunately, Magnum was a transparent guy. She saw immediately through his face that he was upset.

She ran towards the restroom leaving Magnum. She closed the door but didn't lock it. The restroom was filled with opened bottles, some broken and some they made them their ashtray. The music was loud, the DJ was playing "Ever After" (many people requested that song, maybe 10 times already that night and its pretty annoying). "What the f*ck was he thinking," she thought. "I'm not that kind of girl he's thinking..." She freshened up herself by washing her face. She stared at the mirror, make-up ruined. "Or am I?"

Flawless to the point of being godly, Yet I fell hard for your imperfections.

The door opened, it was Magnum. He locked it immediately. How could she be stupid not to lock the door.

You made me believe in love, and not the perfect kind.

"What are you doing?" She screamed, "I’m no ***** of yours!"

Emotions, volcanic eruptions, We both still care, so we're still alive.

"Hey, I just want to ***** you up!" Magnum sheepishly grinned.

You are my twisted sunshine.

The guy named Magnum turned from a gentleman to a maniac. He grabbed her by the shoulders, kissing her aggressively. He lifted her up, banged her back on to the door. She resisted him. She kicked and punched him. But he was strong, he pinned her legs and arms but she managed to free a hand.

"Get off me!" she begged.

The music was getting louder. Cuz life is a pleasure with you by my side,

"I know you like me,” he continued to kiss her, "this won't hurt."

You are my twisted sunshine.. You are my twisted sunshine.

"You son of a ******! Help!!!" she screamed.

And there ain't no current in this river we can't ride.

She punched him with her free arm but Magnum didn't felt a thing. "Oh god...oh god..." she murmured almost submitting to Magnum but with her free arm she touched a bottle, broken it was, by the water basin. Out of instinct, she grabbed it and stabbed the jagged edges towards the muscular neck of Magnum. A blood curling scream, almost primal came out from him. Nobody heard it. She felt Magnum's tight grip loosened. Her head throbbing from all the strength she used.

I still believe in ever after with you.

And then darkness. She felt like she's in a vacuum, lights and sounds were sucked. Black was all she saw. Silence was all she heard. Then reality came back. She heard loud music again. Crimson red was the color she saw everywhere. All she remembered was she never felt this before, for the first time in her life she felt no remorse and no mercy for someone.

She came out from the restroom. She went to get a drink, a flavored vodka(her favorite), like nothing happened. Her friend greeted her. She ignored her and sat on the couch alone.

"Anytime from now...," she whispered to herself. Trying to remember what happened earlier made her head hurt.

A girl went to the restroom. The girl opened the door, and turned on the lights. She was stunned for a second. She screamed, a blood curling scream. Everybody heard it.

Still toying with her cell phone without flinching, she heard the scream. She sat on the couch, while all the people stopped what they're doing and went to the restroom trying to know what the commotion is. Guys gasped, girls screamed. "Someone calls the ambulance," one guy ordered.

The girl who saw what was inside the restroom ran away from the scene. The girl cried and was shaking like a leaf while her friends comforted her.

"Maybe," she smiled, "it's her first time...I’ve seen it already"

She got all her things and stood. She went outside the house. Guys were smoking. She just smiled at them.

"How's Mystic Blues?" one not-so-good-looking-guy asked her.

"The party? I had better!" She wanted to say it but instead -

"Unforgettable," was her answer.
