Soul Searching

Kumakapa ako sa dilim nang may naabot akong sinulid. Itong sinulid patungo sa kawalan...

"Soul Searching" (taglish rants)

Something's missing. Friends and foes are in college already; most of them are in DLSU and CSB. This boy is still in limbo, he's waiting June 5 to enroll in Ateneo. Grabe sobrang lungkot! I feel talagang naiwanan ako. Eto na naman yung sakit ko... I'm itching for some action! Senseless last days of summer!!! I miss someone, I feel empty, I feel useless, I feel fucking bad...

I hate the advertisment by Informatics. It is stated like this: "If you didn't go to Ateneo or La Salle, where would you go? Go abroad!". I don't know if this is exactly what is stated but certainly this is the jism of the advertisment. I hate it. Super hate it. It's bothering me because it's a low blow. I feel hopeless...

Gusto ko tumawa! Ayoko malungkot! Ayoko magpaiyak! Ayoko mangtampo! Gusto ko adventure! Gusto ko masaya! Gusto ko gumalaw! Gusto ko tumalon sa kawalan!!!

Blunt and honest. I don't want to end up as a call center agent. Damn talaga! I don't have any against the business because it has pumped new blood on the economy! Pero kung iisipin what happens to the course you took up!? One example that haunts me is a contestant in Game Ka Na Ba. He took Economics in UST and now his job is in call center. Edu Manzano asked him if he's planning to pursue a job related to his course. The contestant's answer was: no. The point is I want to pursue my passion and dreams! But reality will sting us back...

Itching to make a jump of a lifetime in Ateneo...

Hahaha styl'n and din'n...

Thoughts on Piracy

Thoughts on Piracy

"Sweet mother of pearl!" - from Pirates, the award-winning movie of its kind.

Immoral it seems yet embraced by society.
#########################

Someone asked a priest; "Father is it a sin to buy pirated cd's?". The priest answered, "Saan yan? Makabili nga!".

I first saw The Passion of Christ on a pirated DVD when it was being showed in theatres. Mr. Medroso, formerly taught Christian Living and currently the Prefect of Discipline, brought the DVD for our CL class.

It is ok to download songs and complete albums of your favorite foreign artists. Buy only originals for OPM's. Help the industry kamo.

Meet Joseph. He likes foreign movies and has a wide collection. The only problem is he can't find rare movies like Waterloo, FireBush69, Asian Penetration, and Bubblegum Kitty Kitty Bukake Brothers on local video stores. After he discovered Quiapo, he never looked back. He is now a bonafide connoisseur of these movies and an envy of his friends.

Don't speak english if you're buying fake shoes in GreenHills so you can haggle effectively.

Feed My Asian Delights

What's the difference? Oriental? Yellow fever? Rice attack? Is it their eyes and mysterious long hair? Maybe its their white porcelain skin? Chinita...

It is a hysteria created by Zang Ziyi and promulgated by San Chai for the masa. It is already a fad in the Philippines. Sandara Park and Kim Chui are examples. Shampoo commercials feature chinita. We are influenced! Out with the mestizas and morenas, here comes your chinitas.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

We never thought... (rants...)

Sa kaduluduluhan ng kabaklaaan ng aking kinagisnan...

Pagsisi aking napuna...

kung sino man nagibento yan, nakatikim ka na ng malupit... we all know naman tulad ng betadine at hair.

Senseless Romantic

In a far away dream, she bid for his true love. She had her love kept throughout her life until now. Whatever happens she would get what she dearly waited.

Her heart swept her to a small church. It was ger dream to be married on a small church. As she entered, the bell tolled of joyful harmony. Doves were flying. Petals of her favorite flower scattered on the carpeted floor. Yes, everything would be perfect.

In front of the altar, her true love stood. As her eyes met his, she melted like how a candle melts. It was unendng fantasy. She was never afraid of their future. She imagined their kids and the painful ecstacy of their labor. She imagined the love. She imagined the passion and pleasure of his touch. The enchanting spells of their arguements would be followed by melodious reconciliation. Assuring whispers of sweet nothing would echo throughout their shared bed. Yes, everything would be perfect.

Her true love saw her. She smiled and glanced behind her. There stood the bride. A beautiful lady she was; her skin white as the evening haze of the moon; her eyes smile everytime she steps forward; her silky dress curved with her pregnant tummy. Her true love smiled at the sight of his bride.

Yes, everything would be perfect.

Poll watching!

The first A on BAYAG!

Yesterday former LSGH boys volunteered to protect the votes of Green Hills. They poll wacthed, counted votes, made love to LSGH facilities, delivered ballot boxes, ate lunch, talked to old school mestiza lolas, saw Ipe, smelled Marvin Agustin, ate jelly snacks, FAK, BARNAKOL, and became a part of history!

Nasty Entry

Rumors are twisted truth.

I read an entry on stories (nasty rumors) about private high schools. I read a portion about LSGH. There was a story on LSGH boys turned masturbation into a sport. Just like any sports, there were particular events like pabilisan, paramihan, and palayuan; I don't want to go on the details.

I can't believe it! Where was I when these happened! I might have joined and won 3rd place! Hahaha just joking! For real, I might get disqualified...

Tulian

"Achieve your peak and the only direction you will be going is down" - ewan

Tuli

Maybe, just maybe he's tired of holding-on. Tired of the passion he dearly grasp from the start. But then again, it is his only love. It is his only will and committment of what life gave him.

Exhausted and beaten, he gathered himself. His vices kept haunting his defeat. Lost was his date during his heartbreak. Doubt was his mistress when he tasted mistake. Regret was his f*ck buddy; nagging for his attention. Nevertheless, he remembered, the Passion was his true love; his slice of heaven; his loyal wife his eyes feast on everynight. He never knew all would be lost. The reason? The fatigue of time consumed his desire; his only drive of his dreams and visions.

It is his will and committment. Lost, Doubt, Regret and Passion make his life. He is spunned around the intricate web of bliss. Never again to be broken to million of pieces because of his only prayer is waiting to be answered.

##################

Hard lessons left to be understood...

Shock...helpless...fucked. I felt these emotions.

I can still hear Mrs. Felarca's plea...

Kung kelan pa nawala...

I believe to attain immortality (in a Catholic's view) is to do good and plant a memory in every soul you may have touched. Sounds chessy noh? But that's my view on immortality...

A memory...

"Pwede na akong mamatay..." Byron, after 4j won a do-or-die basketball match. Knock on wood.

5 seconds left on the game. Jason dribbled the ball towards the hoop. He lost his balance, and went down on the floor. The opponent tried to steal the ball. Jason protected the ball then he saw Gerard running towards the hoop. Jason bounced passed the ball to Gerard. Gerard layed it up and the buzzer echoed throughout FMAC.

May One

May One

Joseph woke up early. He tiptoed downstairs silently, not to wake up his cousin. He stretched his lazy body and drank a glass of water. He put on his Chucks and went out of the house and jogged for 20 minutes. While jogging, he inhaled through his nose and exhaled from his mouth. He passed by houses of his friends. He jumped over poop left by dogs. He ventured to unchartered streets and alleys. He felt great, damn great.

#################

Joseph remembered The Rock. The Rock always referred or introduced himself in third person. Example, The Rock would give a cheap pop (by saying the name of the city, a wrestler will be cheered for it) - "The Rock has come back to [name of city]!".

The Rock... Haha pagkain ng baboy...Joseph made a corny joke... Shit super egoistic nito ah...

#################

When Joseph was working-out at his local gym, he got pumped-up by the playlist being played on the gym. His favorites were Enveloped Ideas and Salamat by The Dawn and, "I just can't get enough...".
