Buhos na Ulan Aking Mundo'y Lunuring Tuluyan

Search-In
Candles, their light illuminating the ceiling above. Spilled wax hardened fast by cold air. Endless nights of "wala pa sa kalahati...", kapit, and ballpens. Can't wait for it. Can you feel it?

Happiness
Happines springs from anything. It can be a song, which tune can make somebody dance and forget all sadness in life; a compliment which uplifts a tormented soul; it can be friends, whose companionship lights loneliness in the darkness of rejection and peer pressure; it can be anything. No matter how or big, shallow or deep it is, if it brings a smile on a face, it is definitely happiness.

I like to dwell into my memory because there have been instances I want to relieve and experience the happiness I felt. I reminisce on the past, biting and chewing every last meat of happiness. To dwell in my past, I always thank the Lord for giving sparks of joy and the small things that played their part to weave the very fabric of my happiness.

One example of this happiness was an unforgettable night. I was stucked in the juxtaposedof emotionsand stars. The sky was filled with magic, lust for better, and love. I gazed upon the stars. I was enjoying the stars, wishing I may catch one and hold it on my bare hands. Beside me was someone special, knowing this may never happen again, I cherished this unforgettable first. I felt the chilly air, I counted the stars, I breathe life at its best: love.

Man cannot always get his wants, desires, and needs. But the experience of eternal bliss, it is already in front of him. God never hinders us from happiness. Man sometimes gets blinded by glitz and vanity of his desires that he himself created. Man must learn to see the true happiness in ever small things, every precious moments and every breathe he takes.
