In the back alleys of Tondo, a young man loads his gun. He is watching a hostage drama on TV of an abondoned sari-sari store when his cellpone rings. He answers it and immediately ends the conversation. He glances on the Tv screen, the hostage taker has just shot point-blank a negotiator on the head.

He begins to walk. Approaching his destination, he hears cries from a girl, shouts from men and sirens from police cars. He faces a wall and climbs it. There when he looks down he sees the hostage taker pointing his gun on a girl. The young man gets his gun and points the barrel on the head of the hostage taker. He shoots and instantly the hostage taker dies.
