• Circle 131 (September 23-25, 2005)
  19 juniors took part in the 2nd Circle for the school year. As God has always been faithful, He has once again blessed us with great success and inspiration. Very notable in this retreat was the return of Querry Kho of Circle 6. Querry is legendary in facilitating the Search-In activities and he hasn't lost his touch after all these years leading many of the present staff to be inspired through working side by side with him. Nonong Noriega of Circle 6 also stirred emotions to great heights by surprising everyone with awesome approaches to some of our most precious moments in the retreat. Circle 131 selected "Pangako Ng Bukas" which was sung by Circle 22's Wency Cornejo.

Naalala ko lang ang Circle namin sa Search-In. Ang dami namin noon. Pinakamaraming circle sa batch namin. Magandan ang chemistry noon. Halo-halo. Lahat ng uri ng lasalista na sa 131. Sa dami namin, inabot na kami ng umaga para matapos ang lahat. Hanggang ngyn din naman ganun walang nagbago.

Aaminin ko, nakalimutan ko na yung lyrics ng Circle song namin. Na-memorize ko ba noon? Hindi siguro. Alam ko si Wency Cornejo ang kumanta, pati uso kasi ang rock nung time na yun kaya feeling ko kaya namin napili yun dahil sa malupit na guitar riffs ng kanta.

Naging mga matatalik kong kaibigan ang iba sa aking circle. Swerte ko na hanggang ngyn nakakausap ko at talagang mga kaibigan ko ang circlemates ko.

This weekend na ang retreat ng circle 145! haha!

F*ck you tricycle riders: nakakahiyang pakiramdam

Nakakaasar pag inuunahan ka sa pagbayad ng tricycle sa ateneo. Dati tinitingnan ko yung official trike fees sa may sec trike terminal, tapos may isang nakatiwangwang na driver na sinabi niya na hapon na kaya hindi na susundan yng trike fees. Naasar ako as in. Gusto ko makipagaway sa kanya. Gusto ko maging palingkera...

Pero naging kalmado lang ako at sumakay sa trike at tinanong ko a driver kung magkano.. sabi nya kung ano ang gusto ko. Pakipot pa sya.

Habang na sa trike ako. Minumura ko lahat ng tricycle driver, at taxi drivers in recent memory ko dahil sa abusadong pagbigay ng fee at sabi ko pa na next time may karapatan naman ako kaya itataas ko ang bandera ng ULOL MO MAY KARAPATAN AKO!

Pero, nagsisi ako pagkatapos ng ilang araw. Pinagbawal na ang tricycles sa katipunan. Bawal na. Pweh :( Buhay nga naman. Napahiya ako.

Anong nagawa ng Search-In sa akin? Dito ko natutunan na mag-express ng love for my mother.

Dati di ako marunong mag "I love you" sa aking mom, mas lalo na i-kiss mom ko goodbye sa harap ng friends ko. Nahihiya ako dati. Pero after Search-In, narealize ko na bakit ako nahihiya. Sabi ko, it will make a difference sa mom ko kahit isang gesture of love para sa kaniya.
